LOOSE CONTROL

In LOOSE CONTROL, Panzarino and Sobel attempt to perform the complicated choreography from Missy Elliot’s music video for her hit single, “Lose Control." Their failure to do so results in dance moves that are simplified and sped up, exposing a convention of repetition and objectification that often exists in American music videos. The artists poke fun at themselves and the culture of instant gratification.
